Northallerton Stream

Northallerton Stream, originally uploaded by Kafka_K.

Having got away from london for the weekend embarking on a photography weekend with celebrated landscape photographer Joe Cornish was a real treat.

This man is a true master with a camera and takes the craft to another level.

This was taken whilst nealing in the middle of a stream in the middle of a the North Yorkshire Moors. Whilst my skills are not remotely on the level of Joe I feel that just through being around him for a short while my level of understanding not to mention bravery within photography has grown. Craft - Art - Soul as the master would say. I hope to bring them all together one day.....

Unfortunately my SLR battery died at the end of the day and I failed to make capture of this so I had to resort to using my phone to get this (as the quality reveals)

Regents St Silhouette

Regents St Silhouette, originally uploaded by Kafka_K.

Eyes open, the dust settles. A
sheen of greyness cast across
what only moments ago was a
sparkling playground for my
mind...

Greens are now greys, the volume
fades and the light deadens each
surface. The soundtrack gone, a
lull, my minds eye has retreated
to its shell, blinking lids:- now
closed, shut me in, all the world
from before is now locked out.

Where do all the highlights go?
All around, the world stripped of
its enhanced beauty, each
destination a non-event all those
players from my movie fairground
ride now absent.... Without
leave....
