This weekend sees a trip to the Barbicans 'This is War!' exhibition - featuring the work of Robert Cappa. The celebrated war photographer (1913-54).

Eyes open, the dust settles. A
sheen of greyness cast across
what only moments ago was a
sparkling playground for my
mind...

Greens are now greys, the volume
fades and the light deadens each
surface. The soundtrack gone, a
lull, my minds eye has retreated
to its shell, blinking lids:- now
closed, shut me in, all the world
from before is now locked out.

Where do all the highlights go?
All around, the world stripped of
its enhanced beauty, each
destination a non-event all those
players from my movie fairground
ride now absent.... Without
leave....

The time has come to make a start on publishing some fragments on life in London. Photos some video and some thoughts and records of what's happening in this city around me.......
